The U-19 Indian cricket team defeated Pakistan after setting a target of 273 runs on Tuesday. The matches held at Christ Church’s Hagley Oval Cricket ground in New Zealand. The U-19 Indian team has entered the World Cup finals against Australia, (three times champions) and the match is scheduled for February 3rd.
Right from the first ball, India was dominating both the sides. The highlight and the performer Shubman Gill. He became the Man of the match, his first century scoring 102 runs in 94 balls.

This is the ninth match of ICC U-19 world cup between the two countries. Indian coach Rahul Dravid had said earlier to ANI news agency, that matches between India and Pakistan are a great learning experience for the players.
He said “It’s exciting to play an India-Pakistan game because U-19 cricket is all about experiences, about giving them different learning environs.
The last couple of years we haven’t had a chance to play Pakistan at any level, so it’s really nice that it has panned out the way it has.”
After the victory, Harbhajan Singh tweeted
Congrats on the thrashing performance and all the very best team India!
