16. The land of Snow
Himachal Pradesh is the land of Snow. The feeling of ‘Top of the world’ can be well defined and experienced in Himachal Pradesh. This state of India does not have one but many mesmerizing places like Shimla, Manali, Kullu, and Dalhousie. This land of snow adds really well to the pride of India.
Islam is the second largest religion in India and India also has almost 3, 00,000 mosques which are more than any Muslim country.
18. A.R. Rahman
A.R. Rahman is the Indian Musician, songwriter, and philanthropist and first Asian who won 2 Oscars in the same year. He is the first music composer to receive a national award for his first film ‘Roja’ in the year 1992. He is also known as “Isai Puyal.” musical Cyclone, Mozart of Madras. He is the living legend and he makes music which touches the heart and soul and India is proud to have him.
19. Amitabh Bachchan
‘Angry young man’ aka Amitabh Bachchan is an Indian film actor, loved by all television host and four times national award winner honored by the Indian government. He is also honored by Padma Shri, Padma Bhushan and Padma Vibhusan by the Indian government. He is also honored by Government of France ‘Highest civilian Award.’ And the list goes on and on. There is no reason why we would not love this legend and be proud to have him in our country.
The city never sleeps, local trains are the lifeline. City of Dreams and financial capital of India yes it is MUMBAI! Mumbai has the largest financial institutes like RBI, SBI, NSE, and BSE. It is the destination for business offering huge opportunity right from the one who sells Wada Pav to the industrialist or for people who want to get into Bollywood. No wonder it is ‘Mumbai Meri Jaan’ for millions.
21. Yummy food from Telangana
Telangana was founded in the year 2014. The food from this state is typically spicy which includes ingredients such as tamarind, chilies, and asafoetida and these ingredients are widely used in vegetarian as well as non-vegetarian cuisines. Some of the delicacies are golichina mamsam, Gongura Mamsam, and the yummy Hyderabadi biriyani. Really mouthwatering and food cannot be separated from Indians.
22. Manipuri Dance
Manipuri dance or the dance of Manipur is the ancient and folk forms of dance. The dance conveys a story of spiritual experience and mainly performed in temple premises. However, since the 20th century, the dance form started its performance on stage. This unique dance form is really special from India- Manipur.
Chhattisgarh is known as Power Capital of India. Mineral resources are the biggest strength of this state. Coal production accounts for 21.15 % and Iron ore production accounts to 16% and contributes to overall production from India.
24. Snakes and Ladders
Snakes and ladders were invented in India for children to teach them about the lessons of ‘KARMA’ however later it was commercialized and now a popular board games all over the world.
25. Indian Police

Punjab was referred to as the most fertile land in the 14th century itself. It is, in fact, the most fertile land on earth. 20% of India’s wheat and 9% of India’s rice is produced by this state. It is the farmer’s villa and has a major contribution to its fellow citizens on basic needs ‘Food.’
27. The leaning temple of Huma
The leaning temple of Huma, situated near Sambalpur, Orissa India is the only leaning temple in the world. This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva.
Yet another mountainous state of India: Nagaland is the land of Festivals. The forest in the northern part of Nagaland consists of dense evergreen rainforests. This state celebrates spectacular festivals like Hornbill festivals, Moatsu festival, and Sekrenyi festivals.
India is the most preferred tourist spot all over the world. No tour is complete without shopping, isn’t it? India has a lot of shopping destination. Rajasthan is one of them. This state offers loads and loads of options for shopper’s right from handicrafts, Rajasthani paintings, jewelry, and textiles like bandhani, tie, and dye fabric. Rajasthan is the shopping paradise!
We would like to complete the list with another land of mountains, a land of Blue mountains: Mizoram. This place has of lot of interesting places like Blue Mountain, Pukzing cave, Milu Puk, Lamsial Puk, Kungawrhi Puk, Sibuta Lung and many more.
We Indians should check the number of places we visited before planning our foreign trip and should check the list and the contribution of people and the facts of our country before complaining or blaming the system.
